Leeds & York Partnership NHS Trust are seeking to recruit a Domestic Assistant on a full time basis, to join our soft services department with in the Estates & Facilities team in providing five star cleaning service across LYPFT trust premises. Estates & Facilities are a progressive and forward thinking department looking for a self-motivated Domestic Assistant.

Main duties of the job

You will join a domestic team ensuring a clean & safe environment in line with the Cleaning Standards for our service users, colleagues and visitors, you would be required to on a 5 over 7 shifts which includes bank holidays and weekends, The Position is 30 hours per week.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder is responsible for providing a high standard of domestic service to patients, staff and visitors within Clinical/Non-Clinical departments, alone or as part of a team.

The Soft FM service is provided as part of the wider Estates and Facilities Directorate. The domestic Assistant works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering a high standard of cleaning in areas of high activity with frequent change. Staff must be flexible, adaptable and work to support other staff, who have clinical responsibility to service users.
