The salary scale for a Band 3 has been adjusted as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2026/2027 and will be implemented in August 2026 backdated to 01 April 2026 where applicable.

 

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within North East Wales CAMHS. We have a number of full-time and part-time vacancies available across our Wrexham and Flintshire teams and are seeking experienced practitioners to join us. Please indicate your preferred base within your application. Successful candidates will be allocated to a locality following interview, based on service needs.
 

The successful candidate will join our clinical team providing assessment and interventions for children and young people.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for practitioners who can work flexibly across the different areas of the service with the enthusiasm needed to engage a wide range of children, young people, their families and other professionals in meeting their diverse needs. You must be a registered professional with a relevant governing body (NMC, Social Care Wales or health professionals council) and be able to deliver mental health assessments (compliant with The Mental Health Measure Wales 2010) and evidence based interventions for children and young people.

Experience of working in the community with children and young people/adults who are displaying a range of risk type behaviours, complex mental health needs and complex family situations would be an advantage.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
