Job overview
An exciting opportunity has come for a 12month secondment to be a Clinical Operations Manager for the LYPFT element of OpCourage North. This involves providing mental health support for Veterans across the North of England and working with OpCourage North lead provider (CNTW) and other NHS and VCSE partners. The role strongly involves developing and maintaining an honest, supportive and trusting relationship with other providers with excellent operational oversight of the service paying particular attention to the clinical quality provided by the teams.
The role also provides operational oversight and support into the oncall duty manager system with direct line management of four duty managers.
Main duties of the job
OpCourage/Veterans (average 3 days a week)
You will be the clinical operations manager and have operational responsibility and oversight for the LYPFT element of Opcourage North covering core/routine team (South West Yorkshire region) and the enhanced/urgent team (covers the North of England). You will provide operational and wellbeing support to the CTMs within the service and be responsible for ensuring monthly quarterly and annual reports are completed for both the lead provider of the collaborative (CNTW) and LYPFT when required. A key responsibility is developing and maintaining a strong partnership with the lead provider of Opcourage north (CNTW) and other Trusts across the north, whilst ensuring strong links and identity of the service within LYPFT. You will also require assurance and oversight that high quality of clinical care is being maintained across the service.
Duty Managers (average 2 days a week)
You will directly line manage and provide wellbeing support to the four oncall duty managers within LYPFT and operationally support the CTM oncall support.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Both services sit within the forensic/veteran service line and you will report into the Clinical services Manager (or equivalent). You will have oversight of budgets and KPIs and deputise when required for the Clinical Service Manager and contribute to the oncall CSM rota once established in the role. You will ensure strong governance structures are maintained within both services and link into the wider service line and clinical governance structures.
