An exciting opportunity has arisen to join London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust as a Administer in Medical day care unit 

The main responsibility is to co-ordinate patients elective admissions.

We are looking for a committed, willing to learn, dedicated person with close attention to detail.

 

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

  1. Responsibility for the coordination and booking of patients attending the Medical Day Unit (MDU), ensuring appointments, treatments, and procedures are scheduled efficiently and in line with clinical requirements.
  2. Responsibility for daily liaison with consultants, specialist nurses, administrative teams, and operational colleagues across sites to ensure patient activity is planned effectively, clinic and treatment capacity is maximised, and patient pathways are managed in a timely manner.

  3. Be responsible for monitoring and maintaining MDU patient activity data, waiting lists, and referral pathways to support timely access to treatment. Work closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure patients are managed in accordance with Trust policies, service standards, and performance targets, facilitating effective tracking of patient pathways from referral to treatment.

  4. Responsible for booking appointments, investigations, treatment sessions, and any associated pre-treatment assessments in a timely manner, adjusting schedules as required in response to clinical outcomes, patient availability, or service demands.

  5. . Ensure appropriate transport arrangements are coordinated for patients where required to support safe and effective attendance at the Medical Day Unit.
