Job overview

To provide support to the anaesthetic, theatre and recovery teams in delivering high standards of patient care and experience.
Full and part time hours available.
Main duties of the job
Transfer patients by trolley or bed to and from Theatre Suites and back to wards.
Collection of refuse from Theatre's disposal points and removal to compound in accordance with departmental/HB procedures. This will involve clinical, household and special waste including limb bins/sharps boxes.
Organise own day to day workload within scheduling guidelines to ensure that all tasks are completed to the set standard.
Ensure compliance with Health Board and departmental policies, procedure and good practices.
