• Carry out planned and reactive engineering and building maintenance across Trust-owned, managed and occupied sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex faults across plant, equipment, electrical and mechanical systems and building fabric.
• Complete PPM activities and support statutory compliance, including Legionella controls, fire systems, lifts, electrical systems and boilers.
• Record labour, materials and job activity accurately on the MICAD Helpdesk system using a Trust-issued handheld device.
• Work from drawings, instructions and specifications, undertake new installations and ensure disturbed areas are properly made good.
• Liaise with service users, departmental managers, the Estates Helpdesk and contractors to minimise disruption to patient services.
• Support and supervise contractors, contribute to risk assessments and health and safety arrangements, and deputise for the Estates Maintenance Supervisor when required.
• Travel across Berkshire, transport tools and equipment, and participate in the on-call rota and out-of-hours working as required.
