Trosolwg o'r swydd

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy Experts at Hand Service, working across schools in Hull. Hosted within the established Sensory Processing Service, the post holder will receive regular supervision, support, and development opportunities within an experienced team.

The post holder will work collaboratively with education staff to promote participation, inclusion, and independence for children and young people within school environments. Using a consultation, coaching, and training approach, they will provide occupational therapy advice and recommendations relating to sensory processing, motor skills, handwriting, self-care, functional participation, and access to learning.

The successful candidate will support schools to develop their capacity to meet children's needs through evidence-informed, occupation-focused interventions and whole-school approaches. The role will also include contributing to service development, outcome measurement, and partnership working with education, health, and local authority colleagues.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic therapist seeking to develop specialist paediatric skills while making a meaningful impact on the participation and wellbeing of children and young people across educational settings.
