Band 6 Physiotherapist
NHS AfC: Band 6
Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to work within our welcoming, knowledgeable and innovative occupational health team. The postholder will provide a fast access service for NHS staff who would benefit from musculoskeletal physiotherapy. NHS staff can often be at risk of musculoskeletal disorders due to the nature of their work. The postholder will be responsible for the triage and assessment of NHS staff and determine where an in-house treatment is required. The postholder would be part of an established multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, clinical psychologists and occupational therapist, so would have the opportunity to contribute to meetings and service-related activity. This will involve a combination of audits, e-learning, peer supervision and independent learning. We also have a robust Allied Health Professionals sub team, which will support the postholder’s development. The postholder would also be supported to tailor their skills to an NHS workforce and work closely with the Band 7 Physiotherapist in Occupational Health.
