Job overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Coordinator to join our Facilities team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Recruitment, Retention & Uniform Manager and the wider Facilities leadership team, ensuring smooth operations through high-quality administrative support.
We are currently recruiting for a permanent Coordinator on a part time basis, working 30 hours a week. Your working days will be Monday -Thursday, 8:00am-4:00pm but a level of flexibility may be required.
You will primarily work in the BRI, but there may be a requirement to work at our other hospital sites on occasion.
Main duties of the job
Your main duties will be:
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to the Associate Director of Facilities and senior managers.
- Organising and minuting meetings, preparing reports, and managing documentation.
- Preparation of paperwork and providing minute taking support within meetings, ensuring any reports are completed timely
- Managing data for compliance and reporting.
- Coordinating training days, workshops, and rota schedules.
- Ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance at all times.

- Educated to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths (
- Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience
- A thorough understanding of Microsoft Office

- Ability to gain co-operation from NHS staff at various levels of the organisation for the effective development of the service
- Ability to work under own discretion and initiative with a methodical and organised approach
- Strong IT Knowledge and experience, including proficiency ability in MS office programmes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately both written and verbally
- Ability to plan and organise activities and programmes which are complex, and which will involve adjusting plans to achieve the required outcome
