Are you looking for a new opportunity to work with patients? Do you have availability on Saturday and Sunday mornings? Would you like to help patients with their food choices?

We are looking for a Weekend Menu Clerk to support patients with ordering their meals; we have moved forward with digital meal ordering, using tablets to allow patients to make decisions in real time about what they’d like to eat that day.
Main duties of the job
On a day to day basis you will:-
- Support patients with food choices
- Take food orders
- Providing information about each meal choice
- Assisting with decision making
- Take into account special dietary requirements
- Work as part of a team to deliver a seamless catering service

We are looking for individuals to work 7am to 10am on Saturday AND Sunday.

Education and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- A good standard of secondary education, including GCSE grade A – C or equivalent
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate – or equivalent experience
- Numeracy level 1 or equivalent
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous administrative experience
- Previous experience of working in a customer-facing service, providing services directly to members of the public
- Previous experience of working with IT
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
