Are you looking for a new challenge and want to be a part of our amazing team? We are currently recruiting Cleaning/Catering Assistants to help us keep our hospital clean, and our patients fed.

With a new hourly rate of £12.92 per hour on weekdays, £18.22ph for weekday nights (after 8pm) & Saturdays, and £23.64ph for Sundays and Bank Holidays, there isn't a better time to join the team!

As a Cleaning and Catering Assistant, you will be helping to support the clinical team in their delivery of a high standard of patient service and clinical care to the people of our local population.

You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean & hygienic environment, whilst providing a catering service to our inpatients.  Your main responsibilities will be to clean the hospital to the required standard following NHS cleaning protocols; you will lead in the cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas. You will also be responsible for the serving of food to our patients, providing a basic catering service

The shifts we have available are:

  • Monday to Friday 16:00-20:00 - 20 hours a week
  • Monday to Friday 16:30-19:30 - 15 hours a week
  • Two week rolling rota  - 30 hours a week
