NHS AfC: Band 5
Job overview
We are excited to welcome enthusiastic and committed Band 5 midwives to join North Cheshire and Mersey Foundation NHS Trust. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are passionate about delivering high quality, safe and person-centred care, and who want to make a meaningful difference to the families we support.

You will hold, or be working towards a degree in midwifery and bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a commitment to developing as a confident and well-rounded clinical midwife across all areas of maternity care.
You will gain experience across a variety of clinical settings, supporting women and birthing people with a wide range of needs, and will be encouraged to develop your clinical decision making, escalation skills and holistic approach to care. You will be supported within our continuity maternity teams, alongside a structured and supportive preceptorship programme to help you transition into practice with confidence.
Our maternity team is friendly, inclusive and supportive with a strong focus on continuous improvement and positive change.
