Job overview

The Accommodation Department at Worthing Hospital, Worthing is currently looking to recruit staff to join our team.  

Work as a team member within the Facilities Department. To provide a comprehensive service to the Hospital Accommodation undertaking all cleaning whilst adhering to all Health and Safety, ensuring all areas of allocated cleaning are kept to a high standard, and any other duties deemed within the grading of the post.

Main duties of the job

You will be integral to maintaining the high standards of cleaning throughout the hospital Accommodation 

We have the following position(s) vacant. 

Monday - Friday - 09:00 - 13:00 hrs   20hrs

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To maintain the cleanliness of the Trusts accommodation and associated buildings.

  • Cleaning of sanitary fixtures, fittings and surrounds – baths, basins, toilets, urinals, showers, sinks and wash hand basins.
  • Cleaning of all communal areas – Lounges, Kitchens, stairs, hallways.
  • Cleaning of cookers, freezers and fridges.
