Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.
We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.

We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a supervisor and help drive change across our friendly and hardworking department.
Working within the Catering Team, you will have access to the best in class training in this field which will enable you to develop your skillset. and have the opportunity to implement improvements that will enhance our patients' experiences, inspire staff to be the best they can be and also have access to the best in class training in this field which will also enable you to develop your skill set.
If successful, you will become part of a hard working, determined and forward thinking team, supporting in driving efficiencies across the trust within Catering Services to ensure the best patient experience is provided at all times.
Main duties of the job
- To organise and supervise on a daily basis the Patient Services Assistants. To ensure the provision of an efficient and quality service whilst meeting the dietary needs of all patients
- Ensure that all catering staff are compliant with the uniform policy and provide a courteous service to all patients and ensure that all duties and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with all Health and Safety procedures.
