Job overview
The Respiratory team is expanding and looking for a band 4 Associate Practitioner or nursing associate to join our team. We are looking for someone to assist the team in the service delivery and management of patients with Respiratory conditions within the Mid Essex area, by providing high quality evidence-based care to meet the health and social care needs of the population. You will work across the service, undertaking spirometry as part of the diagnostic service, running pulmonary rehabilitation classes, working with the oxygen team taking capillary blood gases and assisting with virtual respiratory ward.
Training will be provided and this will include the opportunity to achieve ARTP certification in performing spirometry.
Main duties of the job
The aim of the team is to provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in the Mid Essex community with long term Respiratory conditions.
The purpose of the role is to support the Respiratory team to ensure that effective, sympathetic and individualised pathways of patient care.
The successful candidate will be involved in completing Spirometry , Pulmonary rehabilitation, Oxygen assessments and assisting with the virtual respiratory ward.
