Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.

Job overview
Join our dedicated team and play a vital role in supporting patient care within the Breast Unit. You’ll liaise with Radiologists and other hospital departments, ensuring clear and sensitive communication between patients, families, and clinical staff.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate outpatient appointments via PAS/call centre, manage changes, and keep patients informed.
Handle patient and relative enquiries by phone or in writing, providing advice under nursing supervision.
Maintain accurate records and filing systems, update patient details on PAS, and ensure confidentiality in line with NHS guidelines.
Support Breast Care Nurses with comprehensive admin tasks, including typing reports, minutes, and correspondence.
Assist with audits and clinical governance processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
