Job overview
This role forms part of the frontline of a multi-disciplinary team, working with children and adolescents experiencing a crisis, within the borders of
Hertfordshire. You will provide specialist assessments within the A&E setting, follow ups and short term interventions for young people aged under 18 suffering from acute and complex emotional, behavioural, and psychological crisis.
Main duties of the job

Our clinicians provide crisis telephone line support, triage and assessment as well as face to face assessments, follow ups and brief interventions in the community. Most referrals currently come from the two A&E's in Hertfordshire, although with our new crisis telephone line we are trying to prevent anyone attending A&E if they do not have a physical need to be there. A car driver is an essential element to the role (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 which prevents you from driving)
