Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The Haematology Service at Medway Maritime Hospital is seeking a Clinical Training Fellow (CTF) and ST3 level or above. The successful candidate will work alongside the Trust’s substantive Consultant Haematologists who deliver a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient haematology service to the Medway Towns (Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham) and Swale.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- MB ChB or acceptable equivalent
- Registered with the GMC
- Evidence of previous training in haematology
- Possession of MRCP or equivalent
- Posession of part 1 or full FRCPath in Haemtology or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
- At least four years post registration experience in medical specialities
- Previous experience of clinical haematology
- Previous experience of laboratory haematology
- Experience of teaching doctors-in training and undergraduates
- Experience of clinical audit
