Your hourly rate in this role will be £12.92. Weekend, Bank Holiday and unsociable working hours (8pm - 6am) will attract an enhanced hourly pay.
We are recruiting for a Facilities Operative at Whitstable & Tankerton Hospital. This 15 hour a week post involves working a 2 week rota pattern,
Recent cleaning experience welcome though not essential. A full induction and training programme will be applied at the start of your journey

Essential criteria
- A Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Level 2. This could be an NVQ Level 2 apprenticeship, BTEC or equivalent international qualification.
Experience

- You’ll need to have recent cleaning experience and ability to take on a variety of tasks.
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- You’ll need have sound communication skills to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing
- You will need to be able to be able to use IT systems and databases.
- You will need to be able to remain professional, work well under pressure and organise your own work without direct supervision

- You will know when you are within your own limits and when to escalate
- Able to manage own time effectively
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
