Job overview

We are looking to recruit registered nurses to join our large team of dynamic and skilled nurses working in endoscopy.  Applicants need to have recent acute NHS experience. Although it is desirable to have previous endoscopy experience full training will be given.

We are looking for individuals with a drive to enhance and proactively build on their personal and professional development. This is encouraged and full support for internal and external training is pivotal to working optimally in the unit and within the role.


The successful candidates will be required to work from  08.00 to 18.00 and will be required to work on the 24 hour on call Endoscopy Nurses Rota once trained. At CMH, currently the endoscopy unit is open from Monday to Friday but  all staff from CMH will be  expected to work on  Saturday as part of 6 working day on occasionally at ST Marks.

Main duties of the job

To work as a team member with support of the Senior staff to develop in assisting the general management of the Endoscopy Unit.

To support and provide a high standard of patient care whilst in Endoscopy.

Work collaboratively and co- operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and the unit collectively.
