Job overview
We are looking for an individual to join the respiratory department to manage and maintain the cancer pathway.
The role of the respiratory cancer navigator is to work as part of the respiratory team here at the Barnet site to ensure that all administrative functions for patients from the time of GP referral to the time of discharge are coordinated in line with specific care pathway instructions to facilitate the smooth running of the patients’ journey.
The post holder will support our cancer service. Where a patient has multiple specialist needs, the patient pathway navigator will assist the patient in coordinating their pathways to reduce multiple appointments across the trust.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for a full time Clinical Pathway Navigator to join the respiratory department.
We are looking for a positive and motivated person with an eye for detail to join our team.

Previous experience of working with the public and/or patients in a healthcare environment
Experience of interacting with staff at all levels
Previous administrative and organisational experience
