Job overview

This role is based at Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital with occasional visits to other customers and Chalkmill Drive Decontamination Unit.
To provide the interface with the customer via communications ensuring that their fast track and requirements are fed into the department along with keeping the customer informed on progress and other quality issues.

Main duties of the job

To provide the customer interface and the data for Decontamination Services (DS) at the customer site to ensure that items are processed in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the customer and fulfill the requirements of the regulations, guidelines, and quality as specified in the DS Quality Management System (QMS).
To manage the check sheet and stock levels of instrumentation assets for the customer including loan and consignment stock with regular audits and maintenance of tracking systems and data.
To work alongside the production manager to participate in and contribute to customer meetings facilitating in data reporting between DS & customer site.
To coordinate the ordering of consumables and repairs ensuring this is completed in a timely cost-effective manner.
To facilitate non-conformity investigations providing evidence, outcomes, solutions and close outs.
