Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Administrator / Medical Support Secretary to provide essential administrative support to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Multidisciplinary Team.
Main duties of the job
You will provide a comprehensive administrative service to the team, supporting excellent service delivery to children, young people and families, professionals and colleagues. You will support the Consultants Medical Secretaries in completing letters, audio typing, arranging appointments . You will provide scribe support to consultant where required, attending appointments alongside consultant and taking notes during appointment.

Education / Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Typing / word processing qualification RSA 3 or equivalent
- Educated to GCSE level including Maths or English or equivalent
- Highly developed office management skills
- NVQ Level 2 Business Administration
Desirable criteria
- ECDL or equivalent IT qualification
- Excel qualification or experience
- Minute taking
- NVQ level 3 in Business Administration
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of using an electronic patient record and maintaining data
- Extensive experience of general administration work
- Experience of diary management
- Experience of summarising and note taking
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of maintaining quality in one's work
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in NHS particularly in a mental health setting
