An opportunity has arisen to join the Estates and Facilities Management Team at The Royal Oldham Hospital site which is part of the NCA NHS Group.

You will be experienced in Soft services estates management with a Facilities background who will be able to project manage, monitor works and compliance and lead and manage a team.

Main duties of the job

  • You will be responsible for the implementation of professional management throughout facilities & Estates.
  • Support the Estates & Facilities General Manager in the implementation of policy and service development.
  • Deputise for the Estate & Facilities General Manager in his/her absence.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • HNC/Degree in Facilities Management
  • Clean driving licence
Desirable criteria
  • Masters Degree in Facilities Management

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Substantial post qualifications and experience in Facilities Management and delivery of soft services
Desirable criteria
  • Proven extensive Facilities operational experience within an acute hospital environment

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Understanding of health and safety issues within a healthcare environment
  • Ability to Manage a multidiscplined team
  • Abilty to attend meetings and produce reports

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Extensive knowledge of delivering complex Facilities services
