Senior Clerical Officer

Job overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Clerical Officer to work at Wythenshawe Hospital in the Cardiac Diagnostic Department.

The post-holder is responsible for providing day to day administrative services including support of specialist Echo Diagnostic Services and general departmental services.

The post-holder will be required to implement policies and procedures in their own area, communicate effectively and act independently.

The post-holder will be expected to exercise their own judgement through experience and troubleshoot, only flagging up matters outside of their remit.

Main duties of the job

The applicant will be a team player with a desire to learn and develop, you will have the ability to work accurately, plan and manage your own workload, possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and demonstrate the drive and focus to work within deadlines to provide a high quality service.

You will will be responsible for overseeing Cardiology Diagnostic waiting lists and scheduling appointments.

  • Experience in use of Microsoft Office
  • Competent in the use of computer system for data entry and report generation
