Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Facilities Department for an enthusiastic individual to join our team at Hartley Hospital working within the acute mental health wards and environment as a Facilities Management Assistant (Domestic/cleaner). 

 

Main duties of the job

The postholder will deliver a high‑quality cleaning, portering, catering and housekeeping service based on acute mental health wards and departments, ensuring compliance with National Cleaning Standards, PLACE requirements, and CQC regulations.
 

Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday  (8am - 4pm) 30 hours per week

We are looking to appoint someone with the following skills and qualities and experience in a similar role would be beneficial however full training will be given to the right candidate.

NHS experience and training in safety, health and catering or cleaning tasks.
CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene, or equivalent.
Experience of working in a similar role (cleaning or catering).
Experience of working in the NHS. Experience of dealing with people.
