Applications are warmly invited for a substantive Consultant in Palliative Medicine post to join the multi-disciplinary at Northampton General Hospital.
The successful applicant will join a growing Multi-Disciplinary Team whose aim is the provision of high quality service and patient satisfaction
As part of the team you will be supported in all aspects of the role, but you will also support, coach and impart your knowledge and experience to your team.

Main duties of the job
The post attracts 10 programmed activities, with view to expansion to 12 programmed activities if desired. There is an internal development and support program available for newly appointed consultants to ensure individuals’ professional developments are achieved. The location of the post provides many attractive places to live, excellent schools and easy access to the major cities.

- Fully Accredited for on the GMC Specialist Register for Palliative Care via one of the following: (i) Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). The proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview. Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR).
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
