Job overview
An exciting opportunity for an Ambulance Support Team Member based at our Goodwood Ambulance Station and around Leicestershire. The post holder will carry out ambulance cleaning and preparation duties to set infection control standards and ensure that vehicles are ready to respond to emergencies. The post holder will also be required to drive ambulances and other Trust vehicles between bases as part of their normal duties.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant needs to have 2 GCSE’s (Grade C or above) or equivalent/provide evidence, which shows an ability to apply knowledge in a structured way. A full driving licence with no more than 3 points for SP30 is required. A C1 driving Licence would be an advantage or a willingness to obtain within the probation period of employment.
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with good hand eye coordination, work under pressure and meet deadlines. The successful candidate will have to be able to work as part of a team, but also on own initiative. The candidates main duty will be deep cleaning fleet vehicles. Relevant previous work experience would be an advantage but training will be given.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will help us excel in the service and care given to patients.

The successful applicant has an exciting opportunity to join the Fleet Services Department who provide support to our front line colleagues ensuring they have a highly maintained safe, well stocked, IPC compliant, vehicle to use, also well maintained Medical Equipment to ensure they are equipped to deal with any medical emergencies attended.

Essential criteria
