Job overview

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Domestic Team at Wathwood Hospital.  You will be responsible for cleaning all our patient and non patient areas.   

Previous experience of working within a domestic or cleaning environment is essential and extra training will be given, experience within the NHS or a hospital setting is desirable but not essential.

We have in-house training to help your personal development plans and will support you with all of your training needs.

Main duties of the job

Facilities Assistants/Domestic Assistants should have the ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team.  Maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.

This vacancy will work on a rota which includes weekends and bank holidays - 5 hours a day. Hours of working can be discussed at interview.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.  

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.

Training

Experience
