Essential criteria

Demonstrate specialist technical expert knowledge underpinned by theory and practice in an Mechanical or Electrical engineering discipline
Experience in a range of areas such as PPM, lifecycle, reactive maintenance, energy, estates management information and construction quality monitoring
Ability to analyse and interpret complex data, diagnose problems, identify solutions, and undertake benefits analysis
Previous experience of working in a complex organisation
Demonstrable problem-solving capability with ability to maintain a flexible and collaborative approach
Excellent knowledge and understanding of performance/quality quantitative and qualitative surveying/auditing of systems and able to present findings in a clear, concise and cogent form
Experience in the management of complex commercial and contractual relationships
Highly proficient in the use of information technology and the ability to write & demonstrate reports and technical information in a suitable manner for a range of audiences
Excellent communication, negotiation and decision-making skills whether written, verbal or electronic

Desirable criteria

Excellent Understanding of Service Delivery
Extensive understanding in the delivery of FM Services and the standards required

Qualifications

Essential criteria

NVQ level 3 or above in electrical / mechanical / building / building service engineering or equivalent practical extensive experience.
Engineering and or building degree or equivalent extensive experience

On-going professional development

Qualifications and experience of multi discipline complex engineering services
Membership of relevant professional institute

When taking on an additional responsibility, your case volume is reduced, making time available for this focused time.

For Senior Assessors, additional responsibility options include supporting more complex cases, ensuring quality assurance, providing training, facilitating family engagement, and contributing to pathway development.
