We're seeking a health and safety professional to join us at our site in south Oxford in the Health, Safety and Security department.
You'd could have past experiences in health and safety, the police force, the prison service or the armed forces. Don't worry if you've never been on a mental health ward - we'll train you up!

Main duties of the job
The Oxford Clinic is a medium secure forensic mental health facility comprising of three wards with 42 beds across all three wards. Many of our patients have had experience of the criminal justice system in the past, and will be subject to a detention under the mental health act. While not working directly with patients you will be contributing to a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment.
- You will be responsible for the safety within the clinic, using the See, Think, Act version 3 as a framework.
- You will be involved in security awareness training of all clinical professionals within the service, where training will be provided.
- You will be required to liaise with staff at all levels and to demonstrate a dedicated approach in providing a high quality service.
