You will be given opportunities in the longer term to develop their own specialist knowledge, skills and competence. The successful candidate will be supported to gain an independent prescribing qualification if they do not already have one.
You should have proven specialist clinical skills and be keen to take an active part in contributing to ongoing development of our service. You will need to have excellent communication, motivational and organisational skills, a flexible approach to work to deliver a high standard of care

You will undertake advanced wound care and casting techniques. You will be responsible for the clinical supervision of junior team members, students, and other support staff within the team.
The goal of the service is to enable patients to make informed choices about how to manage their condition, so that they can stay as well as possible for as long as possible, and reduce their risk of diabetes-related complications. Patients are empowered to self-manage wherever possible.
Main duties of the job
There has been considerable investment in PTHB AHP Leadership Team who are forward thinking and innovative embracing current strategy, and this filters down to all staff. This a full-time post, but applicants who are looking for part time hours or job shares will be considered.
