Job overview
we require a caring and enthusiastic individual to work part time as a support services assistant within the domestic/catering and portering team.
This is a 30 hour post working Monday to Sunday. based at Knighton hospital.
You will need to be self motivated, have a flexible approached to work,be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative
Previous experience is an advantages, but not essential, as full training will be given.
Hours of work will be:
•Domestic 7-3 &11-7
•Catering 7-3 & 11-7
•Portering 9-3
Main duties of the job
You will support the local delivery of hotel services domestic and associated facilities activities, ensuring that they are delivered at the levels agreed and that they meet with full compliance with all appropriate legislation and local policies and procedures. You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work, be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
