Job overview

A volunteer opportunity has become available within the Psychological Therapies Service in the Doncaster Care Group.  The role is for a social media support volunteer working on the psychosis pathway.

This will include contributing to the development of social media and website and creating content around the psychosis pathway services.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate would volunteer as part of a team developing the webpage and social media content promoting psychosis services.  A general interest in IT, social media and Software packages is required

 

It will include creating social media content that will be shared with the communication team to publish in the trusts established website and social media platforms.

 

The volunteer will not be responsible for overseeing and responding to public comments and communication.

 

Volunteers will be supported by a psychological therapy leads and other clinical staff working into the psychosis pathways.

 

Access to a laptop and smart phone (where required) will be provided in the team office to support this role.

 

This role requires knowledge and experience of developing and managing webpages and/or social media platforms and good communication skills.  This role on occasions may include working independently to develop content, it also includes working in a team to collate collaborative content. The role also requires the volunteer to be punctual and reliable, behaving professionally at all times and treating others with dignity and respect.
