Welcome! The Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression service is a busy caring team consisting of Administration staff, PWPs, CBT Practitioners, and Counsellors.
We serve the people of Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin which has exciting, diverse and growing modern towns surrounded by the stunning Shropshire countryside.
As a Team Administrator you will support the clinical staff by taking referrals, registering service users on our clinical system, booking appointments, and sending letters.
We are currently recruiting for full time/part time staff to work at both of our two sites:
Severn Fields Health Village, Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4RQ and Fuller House, Hall Court, Hall Park Way, Telford TF3 4NP
Main duties of the job
- To be the first point of telephone contact for the team, identifying urgent calls and passing on messages / dealing with enquiries in an appropriate manner.
- To organise own workload using independent judgement to prioritise required tasks and duties.
- To support the administration team in organising the administrative function of the team.
- To provide confidential administration support to the team.
- To arrange meetings/appointments/clinics by co-ordinating and booking / cancelling rooms.
- To respond in a courteous and professional manner with clients, visitors and other agencies and their team

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Good basic education to include English Language (GCSE Grade C or above) or equivalent.
- Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration or NVQ Level II in Business Administration or equivalent qualification
Desirable criteria
- European Computer Driving Licence.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous administration/ secretarial experience
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS administration experience
- Knowledge of Inpatient Management Systems (e.g RiO)
Skills
Essential criteria
- Well written application and complete application

- Remains calm and focused under pressure.
