Senior Staff Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background of high dependency surgical nursing  wishing to further their career within the speciality.

Main duties of the job

We are a 14-bedded Surgical Special Care Unit that provides care for surgical high dependency patients requiring Level 2 support across a range of surgical specialities including neurosurgery, head and neck, vascular, upper and lower GI, spinal and major trauma. 

We are looking to appoint a Senior Staff Nurse to join the team.   You will  have a minimum of 2 years’ experience caring for level 2 surgical patients and have completed the Step 1 Critical Care Competency Workbook, a recognised Critical Care Course would be advantageous.   We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated, professional and demonstrates strong leadership skills who can work under pressure as part of a team. In addition,  you should possess good organisational skills and communication skills.
