Job overview

The post holder is required to support the ILD Co-ordinator in the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service to a specialty team. This will involve waiting list management for a speciality, in accordance with the Patient Access Policy, communicating appointment and admission related information to patients and carers and/or typing clinic letters and correspondence as appropriate and supporting the Consultant and Clinical Nurse Specialist team.

Main duties of the job

  • Dealing with telephone queries from patients.
  • Supporting the Interstitial Lung Disease Clinical team/SED Team (supported early discharge).
  • Typing letters if required.
