Job overview
- To participate as part of the team to perform X-ray examinations within agreed protocols and policies - under supervision.
- To undertake these examinations on rotation as required in any area throughout the Hospital, including wards and theatres; working under supervision.
- To form part of the team that provides a 24 hour, 7 day week service for radiographic examinations, as required.
- To support the management and prioritise own patient throughput. To act as operator under IR(ME)R.
- To assist senior radiographers or Consultant Radiologists in the performance of more complex examinations
- Identify areas of best practice and ensure these are replicated and implemented across the Division, in any area throughout the Hospital
