Job overview

Would you like to work with women through pregnancy and post birth, to support them to look after their physical health?

Have you worked in maternity care, physiotherapy or the fitness sector before?

Each day you will be working on the maternity wards supporting women post birth with advice and exercises to aid their recovery. You will also be responsible for delivering antenatal and postnatal workshops in different locations around the local area, for this being a car driver is essential. The workshops support women in pregnancy and post birth in looking after their physical health, specifically focussing on their pelvic floor and core muscles.

This varied role will also involve supporting the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team with the rehabilitation of their outpatient and inpatient caseload, teaching pelvic floor and core exercises in a group and on an individual basis.

As this role involves presenting information to patients, for the interview,  we will ask you to prepare a 5 minute presentation in advance - How can we motivate others to have a healthy BMI (body mass index)?
