Job overview

The successful candidate will operate within the Laundry services team as part of the Logistics Division and will assist in making sure the flow of linen within a critical environment, of all stock requirements is efficient and organised. Assisting in the control of safe storage, retrieval and timely dispatch and distribution to our customers and end users of a wide range of products. 

Main duties of the job

·       Achieve and maintain the highest standards of linen support to all our customers by ensuring all stock requirements are replenished as necessary to maintain the agreed inventory levels and within the agreed timescales.

·       Ensure that all linen deliveries are processed efficiently and within the correct time frames whilst maintaining high standards of housekeeping and always follow safety and security practices and report any damage or discrepancies.

·       Responsible for the storage and distribution of all linen and to use your initiative to sort out any problems and escalate to line manager as when deemed necessary.

·       Perform general stockroom duties to include but not limited to housekeeping, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, systematic replenishment's, and other functions according to customer requirements and service level agreements.

·       Perform administration support activities to include but not limited to order entry, expediting, customer call resolution and customer interaction and problem resolution.
