Main duties of the job
We provide Facilities Support Services to a mental health and learning disabilities Trust. We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to oversee our operations and ensure the highest standards of environments across Domestic Services, Catering, Switchboard and Portering.

Pay: Band B (£14.64 per hour)
We pay 25% enhancement, time and a quarter, on hours worked during a Saturday and Sunday.

If you currently work for NTW Solutions on AfC terms and and conditions, you will be given the choice to retain these or move onto NTW Solutions terms and conditions. Please note that the above advertised salary will not apply if you choose to remain on AfC. Anyone currently paying into the NHS Pension scheme will be able to retain this.

Knowledge and Skill
Essential criteria
- Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire, Lifting/Handling and Risk Assessment Regulations
- Sound knowledge and experience of Soft FM techniques and methods
- A sound knowledge of Food Preparation, Food hygiene and food service
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Organisation Skills
- Ability to meet the mobility requirements of the post
Desirable criteria
- Willingness to learn new skills during training
- NHS/Healthcare establishments Policies and procedures
- Basic computer skills
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous supervisory skills (or transferable experience)
- Ability to communicate with a wide variety of staff
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS/health care setting experience
- Experience within multiple elements of SOFT FM or transferable skills
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Hold a recognised Qualification such as NVQ Levels 1 and 2 in a relevant Soft FM department
- NVQ Level 3 supervisory qualification or equivalent experience
- Intermediate Food hygiene Certificate or willingness to work towards
Desirable criteria
- Health and Safety Qualification

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
