· Providing multi-skilled Mechanical & Electrical services across all wards and departments.

· Organizing and prioritizing workload independently and unsupervised.

· Demonstrating commitment, versatility, and flexibility while undertaking all tasks.

· Modelling compassionate and inclusive leadership skills and be able to mentor apprentices when required.

Essential criteria

Minimum BTEC ONC/City & Guilds in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or have an equivalent level of knowledge and experience
Recognised EITB Apprenticeship Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.

Experience of working on a wide range of highly complex mechanical and electrical plant undertaking planned maintence and repairs

It is an essential requirement of the role that the post holder has a valid driving licence and is either a car owner and able to use the car for work purposes, or has a Trust personal lease vehicle which may be used for the role. As a Senior Assessor, you have the opportunity to focus on delivering direct care. Furthermore, if you have the relevant experience and skills, you can take on an additional responsibility. We limit this to one responsibility to allow for focused time on that topic, rather than having your time stretched too thinly. When taking on an additional responsibility, your case volume is reduced, making time available for this focused time.

For Senior Assessors, additional responsibility options include supporting more complex cases, ensuring quality assurance, providing training, facilitating family engagement, and contributing to pathway development.
