Job overview
The Digital Customer Operations team of Cumbria Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is expanding!
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and be involved in a wide range of Digital projects. We are looking for motivated and dynamic individuals to be part of new and exciting projects and product support which will support the Trust’s digital journey.
This is a hybrid working post. The successful applicant must be able to travel to sites based across the whole of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear on a regular basis.
Please note, this post could be subject to a potential TUPE transfer into NTW Solutions, our wholly owned subsidiary Company the potential Tupe date is 1st October 2025.
Main duties of the job
You will work in a supportive role to the Digital Product and Delivery team. You will lead the implementation, configuration, testing and training for clinical and corporate systems and digital solutions. You will also take an active role in the ongoing support and development of digital solutions, ensuring our customers have an excellent experience of digital.
Covering an area from the Borders of Scotland to the North of Durham, and across North Cumbria, we are actively working with Trust services to improve digital provision.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
- Education to degree level, or relevant experience.
- Experience of using a range of digital solutions and systems.
- Knowledge of change management, and strong organisation skills.
- Experience of producing high quality written documentation, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience of product support would be desirable

Education
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant qualifications in the area of System Administration (or equivalent experience)
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of a range of digital solutions and disciplines
- Good knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
- Knowledge of system support management, standards and the applicability of change control process and knowledge bases to promote standards.
- Knowledge in the maintenance of secure system configuration and record keeping to ensure accurate information is recorded.
Skills
Essential criteria
- Ability to lead and manage multiple highly complex workstreams and change activities, including motivation of staff and appropriate delegation.
- Strong interpersonal including the ability to relate confidently and professionally to all levels of staff.
- Ability to facilitate change to realise benefits from projects and change activities.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Successful delivery of projects or project stages, ideally involving change management and IT.
- Experience in the management of system change requests including requirements impact assessment, design, build, test, approval and implementation.
- Experience of designing, configuring, testing, training and supporting digital solutions.
