Children’s Bladder and Bowel Team

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our admin team   supporting our Community Paediatric Service at City of Coventry Health Centre.

The post holder will play an important role within the team, to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support for the service. The duties will include telephone bookings and queries, dealing with referrals, discharging patients, scanning, uploading to our system and sending out appointment letters.

 You will have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external agencies, other staff members, parents/carers and patients. 

 The team is made up of one other admin staff and eight clinical staff members, 

The post is for three days a week (Monday, Thursday and Friday between hours of  8.30am – 5.00pm) based at Wayside House, and two days a week providing Reception cover (Tuesday and Wednesday 8.30am – 4.30pm) at City of Coventry Health Centre,

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a compassionate approach to supporting patient care and service improvements. You must be able to build effective working relationships, be approachable and accessible with a flexible approach to work. The essential requirements of this post are a good telephone manner,  working face to face with customers/patients/parents, high level communication skills and attention to detail. You will have good organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We have a full electronic patient record system which is central to our work, so accurate record keeping is critical, and you must be able to concentrate in a busy working environment.
