Are you a professional and enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing top-notch administrative support? An opportunity has arisen for a Medical Typist/Admin Clerk in the Surgery & Anaesthetic Department.
This role is to act as a link between the Medical Secretaries ensuring all communication is passed on accurately whilst upholding confidentiality.
Integrate as part of our team, assisting our consultants and clinical staff in delivering a safe and efficient service administration service for our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING
Essential criteria
- Computer Literate with excellent keyboard skills
- Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Audio typing
Desirable criteria
- RSA II typing/word processing
- Medical Terminology
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
Essential criteria
- Experience of working clerical and/or in a busy office environment (to deadlines and targets)
- Knowledge of software packages such as Word, Excel
- Willing to undertake further development/training
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in an NHS environment
- Experience of working with digital dictation: Winscribe, dragon software
- Knowledge of EPR
COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIPS (INCLUDING MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES)
