This post is fixed term / secondment until 22/03/2026 due to Maternity cover.

We currently have a vacancy for a temporary Band 5 Community Nurse post working 14 hours per week in Caia Park District Nursing Team. This post is temporary for 9 months to cover Maternity Leave starting from 15th June 2025.

 The post requires that the successful candidate is a registered nurse with evidence of continued professional development. They should be enthusiastic, work within the team, whilst having the ability to work independently. The successful applicant will require an awareness of the evolving role within District Nursing.

The successful applicants will need to have excellent communication skills with an ability to provide clinically effective care within the District Nurse Team.

Main duties of the job

Our aim is to provide quality, planned care for the patients. The post holder will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care in the community. The post holder will work as part of the district nursing team and with other agencies to provide clinically effective care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
