Main duties of the job

In this role, you will carry a defined caseload and provide specialist systemic assessment and therapy to young people and families presenting with a broad range of needs, including complex and challenging presentations. You will work autonomously while remaining embedded within a collaborative multidisciplinary structure, drawing on systemic theory to guide clinical decision‑making and support staff in thinking holistically about the difficulties young people face. A key focus of the role will be offering systemic consultations to colleagues, contributing to shared formulations, and supporting teams to develop relationally‑informed approaches to care. You will also provide teaching, reflective space and clinical supervision in systemic practice as appropriate, helping to develop the capabilities and confidence of the wider workforce.
