- Gain invaluable insight into the structure, function, and governance of the NHS cancer system and its funding streams.
- Network and collaborate with a peer group of motivated specialty trainees.
- Enhance your understanding of National Cancer Audits and the role of GIRFT in cancer care.
- Observe and contribute to the Greater Manchester Cancer Board and specialty-specific Cancer Alliance Pathway Boards.
Who should apply?
This fellowship is ideal for enthusiastic senior surgical trainees (ST3 upwards, greater than 18 months from CCT) employed by the School of Surgery at Health Education North West, who are planning a career in cancer-related surgical practice. Applications from all surgical specialties are welcome.

About the Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance:
Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance is one of 20 Cancer Alliances across NHS England, working to transform cancer care across our region.

Support from the School of Surgery:
The School of Surgery at Health Education North West fully supports this collaborative initiative and will consider applications for less than full-time clinical training to facilitate participation.
