Job overview

Leeds & York Partnership NHS Trust are seeking to recruit a Catering Assistant, on a full time basis, to join our Facilities team in providing lunch & evening meal services from our West Yorkshire CAHMS unit Red Kite View . Facilities are a progressive and forward thinking department looking for a self-motivated Catering Assistant.

Main duties of the job

You will join a catering team preparing fresh food and regenerated food for our service users and would be required to work 5/7 days a week, which includes working some weekends and Bank holidays.  Position is 37.5 hours per week, hours vary between 08:00 – 18:00 according to rota.

A food safety qualification is essential, and NVQ 2 and experience in NHS catering services would be an advantage.
