Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seek a Consultant Orthodontist for 2 PAs (8 hours) per week for a substantive post.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing orthodontic care for patients requiring orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, combined Restorative Dentistry and complex orthodontic treatment.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
You will be part of an innovative and dynamic team that both encourages and supports their staff to deliver high quality care. The department is well supported by an enthusiastic and dedicated team of Dental Care Professionals. The modern surgeries are in a self-contained department within the main part of the hospital. The department treats patients with a broad spectrum of complex malocclusions from a wide geographical area of Cheshire and Merseyside. Warrington is centrally located between Liverpool and Manchester and with its excellent transport links is an excellent place to live.
Person specification
• Full registration with the United Kingdom General Dental Council (GDC)
Essential criteria
- • On the GDC Specialist Register in Orthodontics
• Successful completion of an SAC approved minimum two year training in a post-CCST appointment
Essential criteria
- • ISFE in Orthodontics, or equivalent
Experience as a consultant
Essential criteria
- Experience as a substantive or locum consultant so that may practice independently
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
